When I asked I was told that the chef didn’t have all of the ingredients that were needed to make the “Don” version, so I decided to be daring and order it Don-less. When the dish finally arrived, it was exactly the same as the donned version, just without the egg! What, no egg? They are making fried rice in the other room – come on!!! I want my Chicken Katsu Don! It was good though. Yummy.
