On July 25th 2006 Ebony turned 1! It is really amazing how much she has grown and learned in a year. She is such a good little girl! Her actions and expressions just melt your heart! Anyone who has been around her knows the little thing she does with her head…
Daddy surprised Ebony and Floppie with Birthday Frosty Paws, ice cream for dogs. Yes, ice cream for dogs, I was shocked too, especially since he found this ice cream in Clemens! After singing Happy Birthday they dug in and boy did they love it! Floppie was going crazy literally biting the ice cream, while Ebony stayed very lady like and licked the entire cup, well until Floppie decided he wanted to finish it off for her, being that nice Big Brother!
The following day Grandmom and Grandpop celebrated Ebony's birthday as well. Being that Uncle Matt is overseas in Morocco and he was not around to celebrate his own birthday Ebony did a fine job of stepping in. They purchased donut holes and we sang Happy Birthday to Ebony again and since she is a pup she couldn't blow out the candles so we did that for her. She did partake in a donut hole as did Floppie! They actually each got two because poor Kenzie and Dora were only aloud a small tidbit of a piece.
What a way to celebrate your 1st birthday, before we know it she will be 2!
