Who you might ask……Our neighbors, or shall I say Invisibods, up until yesterday!
Josh and I have been living at this house since last September and haven't seen or heard a sole. We did hear stories about how the window on the garage needed to be broken in order for cats, yes you read correctly, CATS could be removed from the premise…. to top it off the cats were dead! Josh, along with our neighbor Steve, who lives on the other side of the Invisibods, have even mowed the lawn throughout the entire season because the grass has grown to the point that a weed wacker is needed to trim it down before you can actually proceed with a lawn mower! Now I must say Floppie and Ebony's friend Snakey (unknown to us, although Floppie and Ebony could sense it, a snake lived under our wood pile all winter and spring) probably enjoyed the long grass, but us non-snake lovers did not!
Sunday night Josh and I are returning from my parents house and there in the driveway sit 2 big SUVs (an Excursion & what looked to be either a Tahoe or a Yukon). I right away said to Josh that it looked as though Steve had some company. Josh however noticed that the garage door was open, letting me know that he felt they were our neighbors!!! I of course am Miss Nosey all night long, peaking out the front window to try and get a glimpse of one of the Invisibods!
Later in the evening Floppie and Ebony needed to go outside. We notice that all the windows on the back of the house have been newspapered to the point that you can not see in to the house! I begin to get nervous thinking they were doing some kind of illegal stuff (drugs or even building a bomb – yes these thoughts went through my head) right next door!! Josh calms me down by explaining that someone wouldn't just show up after not being around for almost a year and start to do illegal things. I start to rationalize my thinking a bit.
The night continues on and after many peeps out the front window, we hear the trucks leave. Odd…..
Monday night we arrive home from work and Josh goes out to mow our "Combo Lawn". I am in making dinner and vacuuming and I hear him call for 4 beers. Here the Invisibods have returned!! He is going to offer them a beer!!! I wait in the house and come to learn that the house indeed belongs to the one mans sister. She was renting the house out and apparently the renters destroyed the house completely, to the point that these men are tearing the walls down and putting up fresh dry wall etc. The stove/oven along with the refrigerator had to be thrown out! The door to the oven is missing and the inside of the oven is black as if it was burnt to the point it had to be ripped out. The entire garage is filled with things either left behind or destroyed. There is now a big dumpster in the driveway!
The men were working late into early morning today. Both Josh and I awoke to their truck leaving at 4AM! I wonder are these really men or are they aliens from the Invisibod Plant?!?! Are they here preparing our vacant house next door into some kind of alien dwelling?!?! Only time will tell!

do do do do , do do do do Invaders… Never…. Don’t exist…. (Sorry, had to go lock the door!) Better keep an eye on Floppie… If his ears stand straight up, “they” may be trying to use him as a human antenna!
