As a small child, were you ever intrigued with the electric outlets throughout your house? Remember how your Mom and Dad always told you to stay away and how dangerous they were, and that you would get electrocuted if you put your fingers in them? We all have experienced dangerous things that is pretty certain, but how many of you have been driving only to find yourself thanking God you are alive, for you were almost electrocuted?!?!
Sunday afternoon we were driving to my parents with Floppie and Ebony….now you have to get a mental imagine of how driving is with two pups with you. Josh has to drive, for Megan refuses when Floppie and Ebony are along! So Josh in the drivers seat, Megan in the passengers seat …. Floppie has to sit on Josh’s lap looking out the window with his nose pressed up against it (as we say “Snotting it Up”) Ebony “tries” to stay seated on Megan’s lap, but doesn’t always succeed for she is just too nosey!
Driving along out of no where we both hear a loud scrapping nose, which scared us both out of our skin! It sounded like “Fishie” was dragging a metal object along with us, or maybe we had just gotten hit by another car (although we didn’t feel a crash like you do when you are rear-ended) we had no idea! Josh noticed a wire laying along side the road, but thought nothing of it. Right outside of the drivers side there were sparks and flames with a lot of crackling -We look at each other stunned and not really knowing what just happened.
[note] Hi, this is Josh. Just have to add something here. I didn’t really think that we were dragging anything, it was more I felt a vibration and the sound of, well, electricity. You know, that sound that is made when you’re watching a movie or TV and a big electric thing is making tons of electricity. I just made the noise now, but I doubt you could hear it. Hopefully I can find the sound and put it up here… [/note]
Continuing up the street, Josh put the 4-way lights on and handed Floppie over to me, getting out of the car to see what was going on. Floppie appeared to be okay, but he was the closest to the “exploding cable”! Ebony was bouncing around hyper like always!
The car who was right behind us also experienced the situation and slowed down to a stop behind us. People in the surrounding houses came out of their houses hearing the loud crack, that we experienced from inside our car moments ago.
Once back inside the car, Josh began to feel a little uneasy – not being able to catch his breath and very shaky and achy. Megan felt some of the symptoms but not as severely as Josh had. Floppie still seemed okay as did Ebony.
We continued on our way and saw a Police car and Fire Police approaching us heading towards the direction of the “Exploding Cable”….. all we can think that could of happened is the cable hit a man hole and reacted with sparks and fire!
After an enjoyable afternoon we headed home and all appeared to be fine – no angry cable out to get us!

Your right… I would have made a “major” comment here, and several phone calls… but since I saw my Bunnies Thursday, I know your “ok”.
