Yes, you did read that correct, I want pet scissors! I would get two and name them Snippie and Cutters – Snippie would be the girl and Cutters would be the boy. Then in a few years they would have baby scissors. OMG – how cute would that be – BABY SCISSORS!!! With cute little pink and blue handles!
At this point you probably think I’m crazy, but that’s okay. But here is proof that my pet scissors do exist:
Note: January 11st, 2009 – The video was removed from the Internet and we can’t seem to find it anywhere. We’re going to keep looking for it and hopefully we’ll find it. Josh is sad…
In addition to this, you can go to Discover Card What If and once the page loads, click on the “Have Some Fun” link at the top-right. Once that page loads you can watch both the TV commercial from above plus the outtakes too!
I so want Snippie and Cutters to join their new family soon – I so can’t wait until they come home!!!
Yes people, Megan does think I’m crazy.

Hmmmm, Josh I think you probably will now be receiving any and all scissors that have ever exsisted! You have heard of the people who in conversation bring up how they like this or that and then everyone on the face of the planet gets them anything they see that is just that!
We are now going to have more scissors than we know what to do with! Please people spare us the pain…. cute scissors only! 🙂

Oh and I don’t think he’s crazy… he just loves these things! Every time the commercial is on he tells me or the dogs how he wants “Pet Scissors”

Considering that science states that we skip a generation…. I blamb this behavior on my father! …. and still consider myself to being sane.
