Who Likes to Count Anyway???

Megan and I thought we were really cool when we figured out that the first Saturday in June 2008 would have the date signature of 06.07.08.  What we didn’t realize was that the rest of the free world would think the same thing, the only difference was that we were a little late as it seems that everyone else figured it out weeks, if not months, before we did.

We are not Lemmings!!!

We decided to pick a new date – a super cool new date – October 11th, 2008.  Why October you ask?  Well, we originally wanted a Fall wedding but changed our mind because of that cool stupid date in June.  After finding out that the reception location we fell in love with didn’t have our June date available, we decided to go back to what we originally wanted – a nice Fall wedding!  Perfect weather, changing colors of the Fall leaves, an incredible reception facility, and a beautiful brown-eyed bride – what else can I ask for?  It will be an absolute perfect day!

Now, for all you geeks out there, you have probably noticed that our new date looks a lot like binary.  Well, binary with an eight at the end of it.  So, let’s see:

= 10.11.08
= 101108
= 10110 & 8
= 22 + 8
= 30
= How old Megan will be when we get married!

This is purely coincidental – I’m not that much of a geek…

    Although a little behind the rest of the 06/07/08ers I think our date is perfect!!! Plus we are able to have our wedding day at the location we want, which makes it even that much more better!!! Whereever, Whenever, it will be the most perfect day of my life! I love you!!!

    My brother was looking at the same date… funny… I heard on the news this past sat which was 07/07/07 was a crazy busy day for weddings. Yes, that type of date happens every year, but not on a Saturday!

    I know that I’m a little behind, but I don’t think that June 7th is a stupid date. I happen to like that day very much. For those of you that don’t know…this day is my birthday!!!
