Finally! After a few months of searching for a DJ, we found who we believe will be the perfect company for the job!
Okay, we really have no idea, that seems to be the problem.
It seems that while every other type of vendor related to our 10.11.08 has some sort of sampling, DJ’s do not. This really doesn’t make sense to us. We had the ability to sample every other aspect of our wedding – from how our reception facility will look the night of our 10.11.08 to different photo options that our photographer has to offer. But how do you sample a DJ?
We think that every DJ would have a sample CD that a prospective client could listen to or have the ability to visit one of their functions ((Obviously not a wedding, but a different function…)). But nope, none of them seem to offer either of these solutions…
So – based on a recommendation from our photographer – we’ve picked our DJ.
Hopefully everyone won’t be wishing they had earmuffs on our 10.11.08! Well, unless it’s cold! 😛

I guess they figure since you can pick all the music there’s no need for a “sample”. However, it would be nice to know if they’re a bunch of dorks. Someone that’s going to stand up there and tell Kindergarden jokes between songs probably wouldn’t be your first choice. Either way I’m sure the music part will be nice!

Odd…….. usually you can listen in on an evening for a short time.
Don’t worry, I’m sure that the photographer would not jeapodize (?-sp) his/her company and reccommend someone known to be bad. Let’s hope it’s not his/her brother 🙂 . In that case, you’d better start learning the words, ’cause…
