33.4

At 33 weeks 4 days, Lima and I are both doing great!!!!

Josh and I had Lima’s appointment last evening and we found out that Lima’s due date is remaining May 14th! The past Monday I had a 3rd ultrasound done to check on the size and confirm the due date. If you recall back in January I had to have an ultrasound and was instructed to drink 48 ozs. of water and was not able to relieve myself prior to the procedure. This time I knew better and drank and relieved myself as needed for I knew my bladder would fill up without any problems. What a difference that made!!!!!

Last night we learned that while Lima is a bit on the small side, currently weighing 3 pounds 14 ounces, they aren’t concerned and are keeping her due date at May 14th. They are targeting her birth weight to be between 6 and 7 pounds, which is a nice size baby. While I was concerned at first that she is on the small side I quickly realized that 6-7 pounds is still a lot of baby to give birth to, so I am happy with the fact that she is small. Hopefully an easier delivery will be in store for me, although I am not holding my breath!

My iron levels were tested and while all is okay, my levels are on the low side, so I was given a list of yummy high in iron foods to eat. While a good number of these items I already eat daily, I am going to try to eat more to hopefully boost my iron levels. I am not at the anemic levels yet, but to be safe I am being pro-active and am going to eat some of the items listed to hopefully aide in increasing my iron. Little Lima is draining me of my iron!!! 🙂 Guess that explains the tiredness!

Here we are at the end of March, anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little girl… soon, very soon we will be holding her in our arms!!! May 14th will be here before we know it!
