Ella was sitting on the potty before bed and selected one of my Parents magazine’s to look at while she tried to pee. As we were looking I heard her say:
Mommy has one of these.
I look at the ad to see a Clear Blue Easy pregnancy test.
I said: no I don’t.
She argues with me that I do have one downstairs.
To which I reply: Oh Ella you are thinking of the Blue Sharpie Marker.
Ella: Yes Mommy a marker!
I then had to explain that while it looks like a marker it’s a test ladies take. Thank goodness the questions ended there. 🙂

Ella woke up in the middle of the night…Josh went up and found her sitting straight up in bed.
What did she want??? To sit on the potty!!!!
Josh said it was cute though. He came downstairs got the potty and took it up to her. She sat on it for about 30 seconds and said “I’m done”….all we can conclude from this middle of the night request was that she was dreaming.
She slept great the rest of the night.

Its comical listening to Josh read a bedtime story to Ella. The last week or so, ever since Dental Awareness Day in preschool…Ella has insisted on reading-“The Tooth Defenders”..a book she received at school.
It is the worst book. Sorry, I hate to say it, but I dread reading it…Ella has preferred Daddy take her to bed lately so he’s stuck reading it much more than me…Poor guy.
I was stuck reading “The Cat In The Hat” 4 months straight every night almost…as she wanted me to take her to bed.
Ill take “The Cat In The Hat” any day!
Only 3.5 months left to go!

We bought Ella and Coop shoes today…same size! We’ll just call him Big Foot!

Matt is off to Africa to spend a 6 week period volunteering at a Cheetah refuge and do some site-seeing in South Africa. Ella received a Cheetah at Christmas from her Uncle Matt and the night that he flew out from Philadelphia to Africa, she chose to sleep with her Cheetah.

So proud…Ella sat on the potty 4 times today!!!! Hasn’t gone on it yet, but has asked to sit!!! Hopefully it’s only a matter of time since she is expressing an interest!
