I just asked Cooper what he would like to watch before going to Quiet Time. He replied..Super Why. I thought for a second I needed to clean my ears cause he always chooses Paw Patrol!!! I asked him again and again he said Super Why! Ella who is sitting next to me says "OK, Super Why it is, no Paw Patrol!"

Cooper came running to me saying he hurt his foot. I asked him if it needs a kiss...he said yes. I asked him how he did it and he went over to a piece of furniture and bent down to the place he hit his foot on the furniture. I said "oh does it need a kiss?" He said yes and bent down and kissed the furniture!
What a goober!

I'm sitting on the floor playing cars with Cooper. Ella requested my help in getting her dressed into her Cinderella outfit. She needed shoes which were up in her room so off she went to get the shoes. She calls to me and hands me a small piece of white fuzz and then tells me I need to dust the steps!!!
Ok sure sweetheart...I'll get right on it. As soon as I can stop playing cars with Coop cause everytime I try to move he gets upset. I'll get on that as soon as you my dear don't have another pretend sinerio you want me to play out with you. When Coop doesn't need help on the potty, when someone doesn't need fed, when the dog doesn't need out, when I don't need to read a book to someone, do laundry, do a craft...I could go on forever.
I'm surprised my house looks as clean as it does with all my job responsibilities, but I guess the steps get missed a lot in my cleaning sprees.
I'll make sure I add them as a must do next time I vacuum!

Is it a sign of a good book or bad book when you dream about it at night and that you are part of the story?
The book I'm currently reading has really been a page turner and a story I find myself thinking about even when I'm not reading it.
I typically would consider that a sign of a good book however considering the plot of this book I think it's more of a nightmare.
I'm currently reading Jodi Picoults' The Storyteller. Most of her books are based on true happenings but are still considered fiction as she uses documentation from her research to create the story. This particular book is on the Holocaust and the Concentration Camps. It is a powerful and enlightening story. I have felt like I am living in the story while reading it, as if I am a fly on the wall persay.
I don't recall learning about the Holocaust in school so this has given me a better understanding of what happened and just how awful it was. So while I may be dreaming about the awful circumstances that happened all those years ago to so many...I have learned something from this steller reading and one women's journey and the life she lived.

Ella is so proud of herself....she used the potty without a potty seat...she called me into the bathroom to show me and then told me that she is a real big girl now cause she doesn't use a potty seat!
I'm proud of her...she's been such a great big sister to Coop as he's been working on potty training and now took another step into big girl world!
