Asked each family member their favorite part of the day...answers are as follows:
Ella: breakfast with her new friend Lula.
Josh: breakfast with The Biondis'
Cooper: brown
Whenever you ask Cooper what his favorite anything is, he replies brown. I think I asked him what his favorite color was too many times when he was learning his colors since he automatically says brown when he hears the word favorite!

FYI
Found a very small tick on Ella tonight under her armpit...so small in fact I thought it was a piece of lint, until it clung to her when I tried to pick it off.
Looks like they are here, even if there are still parts of our northern ground covered with snow that just will not melt!
Check your children, animals and your own bodies!

Took a walk/Dora Big Wheel ride up the street at my parents house, Ella noticed some trash on the street and looks up to me and says:
"The world doesn't want the trash."
I asked her who wants the trash and she replied...
"The trash can"
:-) :-) :-) :-)
Hopefully she will continue to believe that the world doesn't want our trash so she doesn't grow up to be a litter bug.

The children learned the ever familiar Sunday School song "Wiseman Built His House Upon The Rocks" in music class at school. They learned hand motions to go along with the song and have been singing this song for weeks!
Come to learn that Josh thought the song said "Polish Man" not "Foolish Man".....he was shocked that a Sunday School song would single out the Polish in a song.
I think it's funny and am still laughing inside.

Spent this morning sipping coffee watching Josh Cook draw the trains from Thomas the train for Ella and Cooper using markers. He even had me pause and rewind the show so he could see the detail of each engine.
The children loved this....they miss him so much because of the long hours he puts in Monday thru Friday, these moments are so special for them!

Let me see how this turns out: It occurs to me that for each and. every one of you on my friends list, I catch myself looking at your pictures, sharing jokes and news, as well as support during good and bad times.
