Ella is in search of one of her many stuffed animals. She is walking around calling it by name.... "Twilight Sparkle where are you?" (If the thing replies I'm going to be scared silly!!!)
Cooper calls to her, "I don't think it wants to be found Ella."
As she is dressed up like Doc McStuffins it probably senses a checkup!

A lady getting her hair permed this morning when Cooper was getting his cut asked me if Cooper was 5!!!! I know he's tall but wow never would have pegged him for being 5, especially cause Ella doesn't look to be a 6 year old....unless she thought Ella was the younger of the two.
When I told her he was 3, she said...wow he's tall for his age!

A man just called our home phone with a question regarding "Flaming Dick and A Hot Rod!"
I managed to say "excuse me", before laughing hysterically.
I hope he finds whomever he is trying to reach.

I've been working with Coop on bathroom routine. I think he finally can do it ask by himself.
Pee, put both seats down, flush potty, pull up his underwear and pants and wash his hands or use sanitizer (since our sink is hard to get on)....
Right in time for preschool!
The mnm motavation tool has worked so well with him!!!

Cooper is saying hello to my body parts.
"Hi big toe"
"Hi little toe"
"Hi arm"
"Hi other arm"
I make the body part speak back, and he giggles. He said hello to the vein in my foot and told it he loves it.
He's a unique little boy!

Today marks another first day of school for many. I heard the elementary school bus outside a bit ago and thought of a friend who's son starts kindergarten today and thought of the feelings she must be feeling...her first child off into the big world, riding the big yellow bus by himself...gained his butterfly wings so to speak. The firsts he will experience with new friends....a part of his life his parents will only hear about through what he chooses to share and what they learn through other parents and teachers.
I think I thought about this friend and her son, because she is my friend and I care (of course) but also because this marks the 1 year mark of when I will be sending Ella off on the yellow bus, wings gained and ready to start a new chapter in her life. It also marks this add being the last year we will spend time home together during the week.
I get a lump in my throat just thinking about it.
