The other day Ella and Cooper had their heads together up to something... they came to get me and told me there was a "hoppy bug" & wanted to show me. Of course, said hoppy bug was gone. Hopped off I guess. While we were eating dinner they saw the hoppy bug again and pointed the bug out to Josh and myself. I was expecting a grasshopper or cricket perhaps....a fly. A fly. The hoppy bug was a fly. A fly that took shelter IN our house a week or so ago. I think said hoppy bug is slowly failing in health (being stuck in this house) & appears to be hopping.

Ella is like a typical female...lots of shoes. A pair of her old flip flips from last summer are old, worn out and falling apart. Today I bought her two new pairs so I threw the beat up pair out in the bathroom trash. I just noticed she must have taken them out of the trash can without my noticing. She is such a pack rat!!!

Ella and Coop decided they wanted the radio on. Our radio when turned on resets to 107.9 which is a Christian station, while I don't mind that, it is so fuzzy you can barely make out anything. I asked Ella if she'd like help getting a different station on. ...she said "Yes, talk is boring." OK then.

New phones are nice. Getting them all set up and everything operating properly isn't my favorite of activities. Blessed to have a husband who knows technology.

Tonight Cooper was crying in his room, calling out for me. I went up to his room and asked him what the problem was... he told me he was scared of his walls. Seriously, your walls Bud? I saw his eyes aimlessly moving in his head trying to focus on something to be scared of (as this is almost a nightly thing).... I told him they are walls and they arent anything to be scared of and if he would like I could take him outside to the woods across the street and he could sleep there (I mean really kid - your walls) he decided the walls were ok. Come to think of it when I was alittle girl I was afraid of the Yip Yip monsters that came through walls so I guess his fear is kinda justifiable!

We are headed to Myrtle Beach for vacation in a little over a week. The children are quite familiar with Myrtle Beach as we have been going each October for the past number of years. We spend a lot of time on the beach and searching for seashells, fun!!! We always end up bringing mounds of shells back to PA... my one garage shelf as zillions of bags of shells on it. Today Cooper tells me he wants to pack pants with pockets so he can bring home lots of shells!!! I just smiled as I was thinking to myself that I don't think they make pants with pockets big enough to house all the shells he brings home!
