Day #24 of my Thankfulness Challenge
November 24 - For the working and functioning 3 doors on my Escape. The 4th door has been a REAL annoyance the past year plus. Jamming over and over and over again. Today it jammed again. Yep, day before we are going out of town for Thanksgiving. Josh and I continue to find it humorous that we drive an Escape and have to continue to try and escape from it.
I am grateful that the vehicle runs and gets me where I need to go, but disappointed that fot the amount of money I pay monthly I continur to have this ongoing issue, not to mention the safety of my children in the back seat.

Day #23 of my Thankfulness Challenge
November 23 - My "job". I'm a lucky one. Getting to be one of the Mommy's in this world holding the ever important role of SAHM. God gave me this role for a reason and while we have many frustrating and not so happy moments the positives outweigh those moments by far.
Mothering my 2 children full time has been an honor. These past 5.5 years have been the best years of my life. Next year when Coop goes to school full time a huge change will take place and while I'm not certain what will occur I know they will always need me even if they aren't at my side all the time.
God will lead me down the path I'm met to walk and I know my two kiddos will be on that path needing me - just differently than they have the first 5 years of their lives.

Tonight Ella asked when we were going to Walt Disney World. I told her in a year from now; next Thanksgiving. She looked at me and her eyes started to swell with tears. I was totally preparing myself for another Uncle Matt conversation when she says " I was hoping we'd go in the summer. That is when Nolan is going and I want to go when he goes!"
I told her that I understand and while I'm sure we'd have fun with Nolan and his family our plans are to go next Thanksgiving and that Uncle Matt would be going with us. She had an ever so sad face.... I think Nolan may have stole Uncle Matt's spot... She loves her Uncle, but Nolan holds an ever special spot now too!!

Day #22 of my Thankfulness Challenge
November 22 - My brother. He was not forgotten or overlooked in this long list of what I am thankful for. He's amazing and a true inspiration to me. When he sets his mind to something he accomplishes it, no matter what it is he's trying to accomplish. His decision to live overseas away from us all, no family, no friends is am something I could never do - he lives his life differently and is experiencing some awesome things ... I am truly thankful for him and who he is to me and my children. We love our Matt (Uncle Matt).
