With Ella being so young and many friends and family on fb I took it upon myself to assist Ella in her girl scout selling. With going door to door not as common this day in age, because of safety, Ella hasn't asked anyone personally yet.
This morning she asked her first person, her bus driver, Susie. Susie smiled from ear to ear and said "Oh yes sweetheart, I'd love to buy some!" She then looked at me and placed her order!!!
So glad Ella's first selling experience went well. She climbed those bus steps, stood proud and asked politely! First box she officially sold on her own and she just smiled!!! Looked back at me and smiled!
What an awesome start to her Friday!!!

Cooper heard "Babies Gonna Rock It" (like a boogie woogie choo choo train) and he loves it! There is a part of the song that goes... "Tony's (I think that's the name, irrevelent really) in the backroom suckin' on his gin."
Cooper hears "Tony's in the backroom suckin' on his CHIN."
Now everytime he says to me... "How does he do that!"

Ella arrived home this afternoon and told me that tomorrow there will be a new girl in their classroom. She's excited.
This brought back memories of when I was in school and a new student joined the class. It was always fun having a new student. I recall always hoping that new student would be a friend of mine and find me friendly.
Ella and I spoke about how she should be kind and make the new girl feel welcome and include her during recess etc. It's hard being in a new school where you don't know anyone.
I know she will do me proud and do her best to make the new child feel welcome.
Excited for her!!!

Josh made the children a new CD of music today. Happy to have some new music added to it. This disc of music started with just 3 songs - we are now up to 16. Unfortunately "Girl Child" convinced Daddy and Cooper to put "Rotten To The Core" on repeat while I was in the shower. It wasn't my favorite to begin and is going to outrank "Locked Away" very soon as the song "I totally can't stand."
