This morning I decided to "test" my children. Before they even left the house I knew who would pass and who would fail.
Book Fair is this week at the kiddos school. Josh and I wrote each a check to cover the cost of a few books each. Since I volunteered twice for preset times I received 2 $5.00 vouchers. I gave each child a voucher. Josh Cook figured out how much we should owe and I wrote each a check. This morning I decided to stick $3 cash in each of their envelopes "just in case" we screwed up the math process. 😉
I told the kiddos the cash was in there if it was needed to cover the cost of the books. If it wasn't to please bring the cash home.
When the kiddos jumped off the bus as I speculated Ella spent the majority of her "just in case" cash on junk from the junk table. Cooper had $5 that he handed to me. Ella was in tears for not listening and spending the money on the junk. I gave Cooper the $5 for his piggy bank.
Lessons.

The kiddos planted these pretties and made these birthday signs for their teachers this past Sunday! We hope both their teachers had/have fabulous birthdays!
I also hope they looked as pretty when they arrived at school...😉

Cooper still enjoys watching Umizoomi from time to time. Not sure what the draw is to the show, but he likes it.
Ella is at the kitchen table coloring and leans over to me and whispers...
"I can't wait till Cooper has his own children. He's so not going to like this show."
This is coming from the girl who watched Dora the Explorer over and over again when she was 3 and had me read "Cat in the Hat" to her every night before bed for 6 months straight... Oh and she was going through a phase that she only wanted me to take her to bed.

Interesting technique. She got an ice pop and opened it but then decided to finish the chips from her lunch first. This was her solution to preserve the ice pop til she was ready for it. Leave these solutions to my daughter. 😂😂😂

Enjoyed a fun morning at the Reading Museum with my preschool class.
The Planitarium was a favorite of mine with both my kiddos when they attended with their preschool classes and I enjoyed it just as much as a staff member. :)
