Ella is doing her homework.. Graphing birthdays. She gets to March and Josh Cook tells her that he is born in March and so is Grampop. I said, Grampop is dead. To which Ella states "No Mommy, he has risen."
Yep I just got put my place.

I have truly enjoyed being a preschool aide this year at Grace Early Learning Center. With only 1 day left on our school year (that I will be there) I don't know how I'm going to get through having to say bye to all the wonderful children I've been blessed with every Tuesday and Thursday morning.
Many times they have made my day. Made me laugh, cry and just feel proud of what I've seen them accomplish since September.
I'm so thankful for the opportunity that I was given and even more thankful that I decided to take the 2 day a week job. All in all it never felt like a job and I honestly enjoyed every day of being with those kiddos.
I hope there is an opportunity for me this coming fall as having my own two kiddos off in the big league, being with 12-16 3 year olds twice a week helped me fill my void.
1 year under my belt. :)

This nurse/mom/cook wasn't up for making dinner after taxing the kiddos to gymnastics. So we decided to get the kiddos McDonald's... Driving home I turned where I normally don't which Ella picked up on right away. I told her we were going home a different way. When we didn't turn at the next road we could turn at they both chimmed in that I missed the road again. As we are passing the hospital on High Street I'm in the inside lane and I tell them I can't get over into the other Lane to turn so we need to keep going straight (the whole time heading towards McDonald's). Every light I make myself stuck and Ella declared that we are stuck in Pottstown! As we approach McDonald's I turn into the parking lot and say, well I guess we'll have McDonald's tonight. I was expecting cheers... Instead I got... Oh we wanted pasta (our regular Wednesday night meal)...
After getting their Happy Meals and driving towards home both kiddos started directing me so I didn't miss any turns and Cooper told me I should go to the hospital to have my eyes checked so I don't miss the turns in the future!
Giggles, giggles and more giggles by all of us... Great memory and they ran in the house and shared with Daddy!

Today I was called Mr. Cooper by one of Coopers classmates.
I had to giggle.
