He requested to open his gifts before school.. a dog pillow & pool toys from Ella. Hex bugs, a Hex Bug track as a new Lego set from Josh and me.. he was very happy with it all!!

Happy 6th Birthday Cooper! You are my sensitive soul with a heart of gold! You amaze me every day with how grown up you are becoming. I look at you and still see my baby but when I really focus I see a growing young boy who (gulp) is almost a First Grader!

When your sitting out front and hear the motor of a motorcycle knowing it's going way over the speed limit on your road.... As the car passes our house I see the driver turn sideways and give the middle finger to someone.
Next car to pass... My husband's. He drives​ by our house and followed the jerk.
We've had issues in our road since they dropped the speed limit at least 3 years ago. People fly by and Josh Cook doesn't tolerate it. This isn't the first time he's gone after someone. It's bittersweet as I get it. But one of these days he's gonna follow the wrong guy.

With Summer vacation approaching.... I'm looking for some ideas on behavior tactics. What have you been using that works with your kiddos?
Switching things up tends to work well and I'm looking for a new way to handle back taking, fighting etc.
