This story melts my heart and I feel proud for a couple reasons. It also ended up being a learning opportunity for Cooper. Cooper held out a bracelet he found at recess so proud as he thought of his sister and wanted to give it to her. He did, she smiled, thanked him and then said... "Cooper I think I want to take this to the Lost & Found tomorrow." I think Cooper could have cried but after explaining to him why, he understood and agreed that if it was his item he lost he would want to chance to find it. She thanked him over and over again for being so kind and for thinking of her. And he learned a good lesson that turning items you find at school to the Lost & Found is the best choice because some day you may be the one missing something and can only hope others are taught to do the right thing. Proud Momma of both my children. Cooper for his big heart and love for his sister. Even when they fight non stop he thinks of her first. Ella for thinking of others before herself. Thinking of the girl who lost the bracelet and giving her the chance to find it. Must be doing a good job. Yeah us!

The sibling issue of one receiving goodie bags from a party and the other not. It's literally a weekly thing, if not more frequent. One gets something and the other feels it's not fair. It has to be one of our Top 10 Most Frequently Had Talks in this house.
