Ella and Cooper's school has a joke basket in the office and children can submit jokes that the principal will select from and read a joke over the intercom each day.
Ella submitted a couple last year and had hers read a few times.
Yesterday both children decided to write up a joke and submit it.
Cooper was chosen today! He was so proud when he shared this with me this afternoon!!!
Here is his joke:
Knock, knock
Whose there?
Cat
Cat who?
Cat play right now, I need to mow the lawn!
Who knows maybe he'll be a stand up comic some day!

When your daughter steps off the bus in tears... Her school bag zipper broke..
"I hope Daddy can fix it she says, but if he can't Elena's Daddy can try."
Me: We can also see if PoPop can fix it. He's good with fixing those type of things. But I can try to.
I can now add Schoolbag Zipper Fixer to my list of know how's!
And she's smiling and happy!!!
