The children and I made a Target run after picking Ella up from school. We were at the register and the young man behind the register said hello to the children and commented on the snack they were enjoying. Ella looks at me and says she would like to share a cracker with the boy. I looked at the boy and said, well that is up to him if he'd like one. He took it!!! He then looked at me and said .. her hands are clean right? We had just visited the bathroom and she did just wash them so I wasn't lying when I told him that, but WOW... I was surprised he popped the thing in his mouth. He turned to me and said... it's the small things to children that make their day. That kid is ahead in his years as far as wisdom hours cause he is exactly right. Ella and Cooper were so happy that RJ took a cracker and ate it!!!

Good grief.... Cooper and I are playing games and I thought I heard Ebony at the front door... I asked Coop if she was sitting there since he had a clear view of the front door. He looked and then said he'd go check. As he is walking past the bathroom he says... 'She's in the bathroom licking up my pee.'

Last night while Ella wad in the bathroom getting ready to brush her teeth she looks at new and said..... "Mommy you are like the Little Red Hen." I asked her why. And she replied... "Because you do all the work. Thanks for the recognition sweetheart! :-) This week in the Explorers program at school Ella is learning about sine folktales and The Little Red Hen is one of those.
