Day #2 Cooper is refusing to nap. He is playing quietly in his room right now. I am hoping this is a phase just like what his sister went through (hence nap time being called quiet time...trick on words) as I'm not ready for him to give up naps!!

Cooper refused to nap today. He laid in his bed for an hour talking and reading books. He called out and needed to go potty and told me he was done sleeping. To this I replied that he hadn't slept yet.
I told him he could play quietly in his room or lay back down. He's been in his room for an hour playing. I think he's getting bored with it though as I'm hearing something against his door. I wonder what he's been playing with as he didn't have many toys in his room.
Im also curious as to what his bedroom is gonna look like when I go up in a few minutes.

A little Vitamin D did us good...The kiddies played golf and pretended to be an auto repair shop and fixed their scooters....while I worked in the flowerbeds cleaning out summer plants and leaves. Felt great having sunshine & warmth on our skin!

Ella just got over a never ending head cold which included horrible throat congestion leading to a day or two that her voice was affected.
Tonight Cooper is congested and running a fever.
The fall is great (minus all the leaves dropping at a rate faster than light ;)) but with fall comes school (which is great cause my children love going) but with school comes germs and with germs come the "ping pong" effect. Ella ping, Cooper pong....back and forth the illnesses go.
I hope this fall and winter not to be playing much ping pong.

Hearing the children sing together while riding down the road makes me a happy Mommy.
The sound of singing and laughter warms my heart and are two of the best sounds in the world.
