So for some reason Cooper couldn't get the lid to the toilet up and he peed all over the bathroom floor. I return from helping him get changed into clean clothing to find the pee puddle gone.
Dog licked up all the pee.
Seriously Eb your water bowl is 2 inches from the bathroom.

Been one of those days I guess...
First Ellas bed issue, which I currently have propped up with old blankets as to try and even out the mattress till this gets resolved.
Secondly, I decided to breakdown and order the children's Halloween costumes. Both children decided a couple weeks ago what they would like to be this year but I didn't want to get their costumes to early in fear they would change their minds. This happened last year with Ella. So this year I decided to wait and make certain they were clear on what they wanted to be. Last night I realized we need their costumes for a party next Saturday and decided we better order them. I go to the website only to find the costumes went up in price!!!!!!!!! This is just crazy but what am I to do??? I mean seriously I tried the local stores and the costumes are all about the same price as what I am paying online and the quality doesn't appear to be as good. Who really knows.
The shipping fee was an additional $7.00 to guarantee a delivery within a week!!!
My own fault to wait till October 15th to order costumes I guess, I can only imagine what the price will be October 21st!!
Just been one of those days where nothing is going in my favor I guess.

Ellas bed broke again this morning! This is the third time in same spot!!!! She's had the bed a little over 3 years (didn't sleep in the bed for close to 8 months after getting it), doesn't weigh 50 pounds and the rails that hold the bed rails onto the frame have pulled away yet again! This is unacceptable!!!!
I am now fighting the company to give us a new bed as once they repair a piece of furniture 3 times they won't repair it again!!!!

Air to heat, back to air, then back to heat. This morning I switched that switch back to air yet again.
Come on weather figure it out....The switch on the wall is getting very confused and over worked!

Skyzone wiped my kiddos out. They have been napping for 2 hours and are still sound asleep. Ella even woke up coughing and called out for me to help her prop her pillows up and went back to sleep without a fuss.
I foresee some winter trips for Toddler Time...$5.00 each for an hour and a half of bouncing, yep well worth it!

Nighttime routines change often and with those changes comes patience as typically it involves wanting to get up to go potty an extra time, asking for a drink of water or an extra song or story. All things that take more time and prolong the inevitable which is lights out, head to pillow, love you see you in the AM.
This past week has been a shocker of a change. Ella has requested we not read bedtime stories anymore. She also has gone from having us lay with her for 5 minutes and then an additional 1 minute to either only laying for a minute or not laying with her at all! While it has only been about a week and she may change her mind and request bedtime stories and cuddle time again ....I must say this change is one that is kinda sad. While it is nice to not have the "drawn out I will do anything so I don't have to go to bed" routine it is kinda sad if she has given up the stories and cuddles. I for one enjoy that in the evening with her.
Cooper has started requesting whichever parent didn't put him to bed come in and give him an extra hug and kiss. Josh and I even have a sign we prop up in the hallway so whomever put Ella to bed knows to go in to his room if the sign is in the middle of the hallway. Of course we came up with that method only to have Ella change up her routine which now makes that parent the one who is finished bedtime routine first. Ha!
Who can out smart who...the ongoing game between parents and children. ;)
