More so than not I find that children's toys are over priced and such a let down. The packaging and advertisements lead you to believe that the money you are going to spend on that toy is going to get you so much more than what you actually get. The one that I'm focused on lately is a Play Doh toy. The garbage truck that shoots out pieces of Play Doh trash when you push the truck. You literally need to push the truck across your entire kitchen floor. Problem with that, who let's their children play with play doh on a kitchen floor covering the entire area with little pieces of the stuff being dropped all over the floor. I feel it should be battery operated to make it work better and cause less frustration to the children. My kiddies lose interest in it as it takes forever to spit out a piece of garbage!

Cooper is pushing a truck around saying that MoMom and PoPop are driving it and they are delivering bread to a store in Tennessee called Pennsylvania. His pointer fingers are MoMom and Popop and he makes them talk and drive the truck.

Ellas head rammed into my lip and I bit through it. I'm being tested with how much pain I can take today. First my toe now my lip. Unfortunately my lip is swollen and has a blood blister on it. Immediate tears from me and a little girl scared as she knew she hurt me very much, even if unintentional. One popsicle down a few more to help with the swelling and soreness!

I stubbed my toe while moving a piece of furniture in the playroom. Took every ounce of my being and a big bite down on my tongue not to curse...tears streamed into my eyes and I just squatted down and closed my eyes. Both Ella and Coop stopped what they were doing and ran over, kised my toe and we had a group hug. At times I question if they learn anything from me and then they demonstrate such love and compassion without being asked and I know I'm doing an ok job as a parent.

Pretend play when you haven't seen the movie your daughter is trying to pretend play from is extremely frustrating. I am told I am someone but have no clue who the person is or what the movie is even about. This has been her main focus of pretend play for the past week. I'll take Frozen, Paw Patrol or Cinderella any day cause at least I know the characters and the storyline/plot.
