Josh and I finished binge watching "13 Reasons Why" this evening. I've heard and read why it's an awful series and how could Netflix create/make a TV series from that book... However I as a parent am glad I watched. Yes, it's scary and what my children will have to face as youth is unbelievable.. But seeing it portrayed on screen opened my eyes to bullying and the treatment some youth receive everyday. I for one am glad I took the time to watch the series... My heart broke many times throughout it as I just can't believe people can be so cruel.. but it's reality, it's the truth, those adolescents are out there and I can only hope my children aren't at the receiving or giving end. I took away a lot from the series and hope that I can build a relationship with my children that they never feel the way those kids felt. Eye opener.

These precious kiddos are the reason I can call myself a Mother! For 7 years they've blessed me with happiness, sadness, tears, worry, courage, strength, proudness, and without question unconditional love! They are my 2 heartbeats, my two miracles and while they make my hair naturally change color, I love them both more than I can ever begin to share. Happy Mother's Day to all Momma's out there. To my Mom, Janet Renninger... Thank you for your support and love over the years and thank you for being a one of a kind MoMom to Ella and Coop. To my MIL, Terri Jacowski, thank you for the love you have for us and for raising a son who chose me. He is the best man I know and has a heart of gold. To Teresa Bergman, while we aren't close anymore you stepped in as a Mom many times in my youth and were my second Mom. Thank you. To my Aunt Sandra Kemp, my Godmother, thank you for being a huge part of my childhood. The memories are constant parts of my life and many I share with my children. To every Mother out there, no matter what capacity, Happy Mother's Day!
