Early bedtime tonight with school starting tomorrow for both Ella and Cooper. Tonight I took Ella to bed and I have learned two important things.
1. Ella is only interested in marrying a boy who likes Paw Patrol. Kacie and Samantha both your son's are on the list :) Just an FYI.
She is eager however to see which boys in her class who she hasn't met like Paw Patrol too.
2. She prayed for her Uncle Matt and said she wants to pet a cheetah to which I said I wasn't sure if Uncle Matt even was able to do that, that only the vets probably did that.
I told her if she follows her dream to be a vet maybe she could someday. To which she said that is what she wants to do and she will travel around to Africa just like Uncle Matt and she won't sit behind a desk. Keep dreaming big sweetheart!
We've decided to share this with Uncle Matt next time we Skype:)

I sit here the night before Kindergarten and I'm elated with excitement and happiness for my little Miss. She is so ready and I'm so happy that we've prepared her the best we could; sending her to a school environment since the age of two. Not only did she receive parenting from Josh and myself she also was fortunate to receive teachings from some incredible teachers.
I am sad as tomorrow she once again is starting a new chapter of her book of life. Ending the chapter of being home with me and opening the door to her full time education. Our weekends, days off and summers will be a little more special as our time together isn't like it was. Many don't ever get the opportunity to be home with their children full time and while I vent from time to time about the bickering, fighting etc I have been blessed and would not have done anything different if I could relive the past 5 years.
I am going to try to not be sad (ha yeah right who am I kidding) I m going to try to look ahead at her new chapter and enjoy this section of her book.
Her book, her story and I am the lucky one God chose to play the role of Mother. I can feel sad and even cry but this night before Kindergarten I'm going to cherish her and our last night of this chapter.

All I can think about is my little girl getting on that bus tomorrow.... immediate tears fill my eyes.
I thought I prepared myself last year by sending her to full day PreK; didn't think about the whole bus thing.
