So proud of both my children! Cooper came home with his first Golden Ticket and is so excited to be a part of the Friday morning Golden Ticket singing for the whole school over morning announcements. He has been looking forward to earning a ticket since his sister earned her first last year! Ella earned a swag tag for her Swag necklace today for successfully knowing the first set of 25 sight words for first grade. Her teacher also told me that Ella advanced a level in reading since the end of Kindergarten! So proud of both my babes! Way to go kiddos!

As many of you know, Ella is participating in Pottsgrove PAL Cheer this fall. She is absolutely loving it and has learned so many cheers and gets so excited about both practice and Saturday games. I've shared many of her pictures here on FB so I know a lot of you have witnessed how adorable she is! If you'd be interested in supporting her with purchasing a raffle ticket, please let me know. I felt like a rockstar.. yes maybe it was 6 year olds who made me feel that feeling, but I enjoyed it! Having to borrow a pair of scissors from another first grade teacher as Ella's teacher only had left handed ones, I enter the classroom and the class went crazy... "Ella's Mom!!" "It's Ella's Mom!!" " Hi Mrs. Cook" "Ella's Mom!!" "Look it's Ella's Mom!!" One little girl even jumped up and down with excitement! Volunteering has certainly gotten me known. The childrens faces brighten up and are just so happy to see a face of a parent who helped them in Kindergarten. I miss those kiddos but am so happy they are enjoying their first grade classes! It's awesome getting to see them weekly and hearing about how their enjoying first grade!
