Cooper: Mommy I don't want you to go anywhere while I'm in gymnastics cause I miss you when you aren't there... Unless you go next door for cookies, that's OK. Cookies = A happy boy that won't miss his Mommy. Maybe I should pack him a never-ending bag of cookies for school. ;)

The children have been playing Disney Emoji Blitz. Today Ella asked me what emojis I have and then she said how she really wants "Bandaid"... Of course I questioned her as I couldn't figure out if I didn't hear her correctly or if she just renamed a well-known Disney Character! Low and behold she thought dear sweet Bambi's name was Bandaid.

I volunteered in Coopers classroom for the first time today. He's had a hard time adjusting to full day school etc and tears have graced our mornings often. Apprantly he even cries at lunch and recess (this breaks my heart)... After learning from his teacher that he seems to be doing good in the classroom we decided to have me come in and see how it went. I am happy to report that while he looked sad when I left he didn't cry!! When I arrived he was glowing with the biggest smile ever!! This means I get to go in to his classroom next week!!!

Oh homework ... I did not miss you this summer ...
