Morning life lesson for a 6 year old... A month ago Ella was planning on trading a Shopkin with a bus friend. Today she told me she never received a Shopkin in return. At 7:30am I am explaining to her how a proper trade takes place and how if I was her I would have handled the situation.. all in hopes that when this comes up again she makes sure she receives what she was promised. Most importantly, is not to give the other person what they want unless they have what your are to receive in return. I think she got it and was planning to ask the young girl if she had the Shopkin she was promised. If she didn't she wanted to ask the girl for her Shopkin back. I told her she can absolutely do that, however the girl may not give it back. Ella started to cry and said that wasn't right to which I told her she's absolutely correct but that she can't force the girl to give her the Shopkin back and to learn from this that you don't make a trade unless you are receiving what you were promised! The girl is a 1st grader and in Ella's eyes that means she's a good person. Maybe the girl forgot about the trade, maybe she was never gonna give Ella a Shopkin and make a fair trade. Maybe Ella will receive a Shopkin or get hers back.. However this turns out I hope she learned from it. :)

Cooper and I stopped by Redners to pick up a couple items for tonight, one of which was frozen corn.... I tell him that we need one more thing.. frozen corn. As innocent as can be he says "frozen porn"!! I couldn't help but laugh and then I said, no Bud corn, frozen corn!!

Unfortunately after 3 weeks on meds Ebony isn't doing well. Prayers for her and our family.

Cooper: "Maybe sometime since Ella's hair is so long we can use it as mop."

Playing detective to find the Lego piece that was placed incorrectly is such a fun job. Patience testing for sure.
