Ella's selection this week at the library... She chose a good one and with her fear of "everything" movie I'm happy to report SHE DID IT!! She watched the entire thing! Cried a few times but in the end declared Mirinda her new favorite princess! I must agree the chick is pretty awesome!

Some friends know about Ella and her weird fear of movies. Won't go to a theater to watch them (walked out of Trolls), won't watch movies at home either, and movie nights at their elementary school has been torturous.. It isnt that she's afraid of them being scary, but anything sets her off... This summer we took advantage of renting some from the library. It's slowly getting better and earlier this week she even selected a movie of her choice to rent. I'm not saying we'll be frequenting the movie theaters anytime in the near future, but I'm glad she's slowly opening up to watching movies. Right now they are watching Scooby Doo "The Movie" with Freddie Prince Junior, Sarah Michelle Gellar etc.

Didn't expect to have to tell Ella to stop licking her brother. :/ That is something I need to tell my preschool children (3 year olds) didn't think my 7 year old would need to be told.

Another phenomenal message PastorRicky Ayala! Josh & I have served in the nursery over the past 6 plus years. However with our own children's ages and me being a SAH Mom -- quite honestly I felt I needed a break from the little ones. Now fast forward to last summer. We were asked if we'd be interested in helping with teaching Sunday School. Josh and I thought it over but the timing wasn't right with things we had going on in our lives. Leading up to VBS Josh asked me if we should volunteer this fall. Of course this brought on a whole slue of questions.. What age? If we teach at 9 we miss "our" service... Do we attend the 10:30 service then? What about Ella and Cooper? Do they attend 2 Sunday School classes? Do we have them attend 10:30 with us?? This morning it all fell into place. Your message reached us and we approached Amy Taylor Bates after service about serving. The details aren't important, we'll figure that out... It'll work out, it's God's plan.
