Cooper locked Ella and me out of the house. We were blowing bubbles and he went in the house through the garage entrance and I called to him asking him to come back out. He didn’t show up so I checked on him and found the door locked.
After calling Josh about a spare key, I retrieved it with Ella and Ebony in tow and got into the house.
Found Coop at the locked door with a play knife in hand, he was trying to open it!!!
All is well!!!!!

Watching Jake and the Netherland Pirates with Ella I suggested we sing the song when they sang it and…Ella in her sweet voice said: Some of “my people” don’t know the song.
I asked her: Who are your people? She replied: MoMom and PoPop, Me, Cooper and Daddy.
How many years til I am not in the class of “my people”..I wonder.

I have been made fun of, called a Mom overly prepared and one who packs too much….but today I learned a valuable lesson…go with what feels right. It feels right to me to always have a spare set of clothes or 2….
Thinking Coop dirtied his diaper, I stopped at Valley Forge National Park on the way home from the airport. We get inside and I find that Cooper is soaked, his whole bottom half drenched like he was in a rain storm.
The one time I thought, I won’t need spare clothing, the kids will be in their car seats the whole time.
Go with my Mommy Gut….bring the spare clothing next time!

Cooper just had a nice afternoon swim with his PoPop and Daddy! He used swimmies and did a good job for his first time using them. His teeth are a chattering!!!!!

Last night Ella had her first nightmare. Josh and I heard her over her monitor yelling something over and over that neither of us could make out. Josh went into her bedroom and found her sleeping but yelling out a phrase.
He woke her and sang her a few songs to settle her back into a good sleep…..She is still sleeping!

Cooper just had his first dentist appointment. While he screamed his lungs out in the waiting room because he wanted a cracker, he was surprisingly wonderful once in the chair. They cleaned his teeth without any difficulty! He has 16 teeth and no cavities!!! He is part of the “No Cavities Club”just like his sister and mommy!!
