I asked Ella if she’d like to sit on the potty before getting dressed. Cooper heard the word potty and ran to the bathroom and grabbed his blue potty.
Ella no interest.
I continued with Ella, getting her dressed…Josh took Coop to sit…he starts to read him a book…the Stinker peed on the potty!
Way to go Coop!!!! He may just be potty training before Ella!!!!
We are attending our churches Easter Egg Hunt this morning. Ella and I are talking about it and she proceeds to tell me that we will go inside Sunday School (that is what she calls church) & we’ll hunt eggs then we’ll go outside and hunt for candy canes!
I told her she is combining holidays and their candies and traditions but if she’d like, next Christmas we can have a candy cane hunt! 🙂
What a difference a year makes….last year we went birthday shopping for Josh and they both sat in the cart.
This year Ella walked while Coop rode and ate crackers until he got sick of it and then wanted to walk and explore!
Thank Goodness for my Mom who came shopping with us.
While I would like to say my children are well behaved…I must say today I felt like of those parents who’s children run all over the place and are into everything.
All I can do is continues to try my best. I am not perfect and I can’t expect my children to be either.
We hope you like your Birthday Gifts Daddy!!!! We tried real hard!
Found the movie CARS while packing DVDS…surprised Ella and Coop with it….they are glued!
Coop keeps saying ……CAR, CAR!!!!
LOVE children’s faces of amazement and how they recognize the characters from their toys and love it that much more!
Ella loves driving past places she knows…preschool, Sunday School, Target, our new house…
On our way home from my parents house we were talking about school buses and I explained how when she is in kindergarten she’ll ride a bus.
This started a conversation about her getting a new backpack…(Barbie per her request which Ho Ho will bring and he’s going to fill it with toys.)
She then requested a drive by of her Kindergarten School. I told her we would drive by the building tomorrow…
Looks like I’ll be driving by Ringing Rocks Elementary School frequently…until the phase of driving by well known places grows old or she’s in Kindergarten.
What is this Mommy? Ella asks.
How do you explain what a tampon is without really going into it.
My reply….Really Big Girls use these.
Do you eat it? She asks. Probably because of the colorful wrapper.
No…and I divert the conversation onto her breakfast.
