So very seldom does Coop pick up a book and want to read. He just brought a book to me to read and say on my lap. The book… 8 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed! Fitting.

On the Eve of the first day of my sweet little girl’s first day of school I reflect on all the memories of her short two years of life. Time flies faster than ever when you are a parent and while I am so excited for her to start this new chapter of her life I can’t help but be a bit sad as life as we knew it isn’t anymore. The days of having her each and every day to myself to play, go places etc. is no more! So many firsts and this will be one to add to the on-going list. First breath, first touch, first smile, first cry, first laugh, first.. first… first… I love you sweet Ella and you will always be my Sunshine and my sweet baby girl!

MoMom and PoPop gave Ella and Cooper a fun water and sand table this summer. We’ve used it for water, but with Fall around the corner I decided to fill it with sand and let the kiddies have fun! We had a great time this evening playing and building! Cooper loved eating the sand!

My “Big Girl In Training” has stepped one step closer to Big Girl status… her hair is long enough for pigtails!

We love trips to the playground. Coop likes spending his time putting wood chips through the holes in the playground equipment!

At 28 months old Ella knows when we are nearing her MoMom and PoPops house! She even told me today where you turn to go down the street towards there house! She is either going to be great with directions and getting places when she’s older or it’s a sign we are there way too much! I hope it’s the first! 🙂
