After celebrating Ebony’s birthday a few weeks ago, it was birthday time again but this time for Floppie! Since last year Floppie didn’t get to spend his birthday with us, we knew we needed to do something special for him this year. We spend the morning before work and just about all night playing with Floppie (and Ebony too) making sure that he knew that he was special and very much loved.
Floppie is still the same old puppy that came into my life seven years ago. He still has his youthful playfulness, but only as long as he wants to play. Then Floppie’s well-known old man feature comes out., the “leave me alone I just feel like laying here in the sun” attitude. And of course he still likes to lay just between you legs all night long so he can have a great night sleep. He’s truly one of a kind!
And our new tradition continued, Frosty Paws for everyone! Well, for the dogs.
