So tonight we got Ebony and Floppie each a huge bone, in addition to their normal chew things ((the rawhide flat things, they look like little flat pita bread – you know what we’re talking about)). Where do we get “Ass Bone” from you ask…

It seems that senior citizens have tons of perks: Free coffee, lifetime admittance to National Parks ((Mom & Dad R)), discounts on meals and free self licenses. You may be wondering who we are talking about; Mom and Dad R are already Over The Hill and Mom and Dad J are almost finished their climb. So who could it be???
That was the question I heard as I was about to take my first bite of dinner. Typically sentences like this wouldn’t really get in my way of having something to eat ((especially when I was starving because I didn’t eat all day)), but something in Megan’s voice made me jump out of my seat and quickly get to the other side of the table.
No, they don’t have cell phones… Our neighbors – the one’s who live next to crazy – seem to like to call our pups over whenever they are out back. Not that they can pet or play or touch them, they just make lots of doggy noises and make our pups go crazy, running over there trying to see them. I hate them.
Last December, Floppie’s back began to give him trouble and after taking doggy steroids he seemed to be better. In early March his back problems returned and after three weeks of steroid treatment we were instructed by Dr. Patt to immediately take him to the ER.
After celebrating Ebony’s birthday a few weeks ago, it was birthday time again but this time for Floppie! Since last year Floppie didn’t get to spend his birthday with us, we knew we needed to do something special for him this year. We spend the morning before work and just about all night playing with Floppie (and Ebony too) making sure that he knew that he was special and very much loved.
