Okay, so turning Twenty-nine wasn’t as bad as I anticipated it being… My Twenty-ninth birthday was pretty darn good!
January 30th 2007 started off by Josh wishing me a happy birthday! That of course was very special! I did have to work, but work isn’t all that bad when you walk into your office and find a beautiful arrangement of flowers from you boss along with some gifts from co-workers. Being that Mom & Dad were vacationing in Florida, they weren’t around for my special day, however I did receive a phone call with a Happy Birthday wish from both my parents! Later in the day pizza and cake – yum do my co-workers know what I like or what?!?! It was a good day!!!
When we arrived home from work I checked the mail and found a card from Matt!!! Talk about timing, he managed to get me a birthday card all the way from Africa – arriving not early, not late, but exactly on the day of my birth! Wow Matt are you good!! Josh had a little OT (he he he) work he had to do, so I spent some Quality Time with both Flop and Eb. While we were relaxing together on the couch when I received a “Singing Phone Call” from Mom and Dad J!!! They sang me Happy Birthday through the phone and wanted to make sure I had a great birthday!!!
Once Josh finished his “OT Work” he made me dinner, he had asked me ahead of time what I would like for dinner and that he was going to make it for me… I requested Chili (5 Minute Chili) & Grilled Cheese. Now Josh has never made me grilled cheese for he claims I make such great grilled cheese sandwiches, so I tend to get the job of making them – not this time…. he did great… even though he asked me if he needed to butter both sides of the bread, they turned out wonderful – GREAT JOB JOSH!!!
While Josh made my requested dinner, I opened my gifts – I received my 1st authentic COACH handbag from Josh, does he know me or what… what makes the handbag so beautiful is the chocolate brown color he picked out. I have this infatuation with the color brown… it is such a rich color and the handbag screams RICH!!! Josh also had a birthday cake made especially for me. One of our co-workers has a hobby of making cakes, Josh inquired with her months prior to my birthday if she could possibly make a “certain” cake for my birthday, she said no problem…. I have included a few pics of the special cake:

Does that cakes look familiar???
After a few hours of relaxing together (Josh, Flop, Eb, & I) we said “Night Night” to Flop and Eb and went to bed. I, as always, fell asleep while Josh was watching some tv, he did make sure to wish me and sing me happy birthday at 11:55!!!
I am so lucky to have such a wonderful group of people to remember me on my birthday, not everyone is as lucky. Now next year is a different story, for as you can see by the title of this post… I am now 29… so we can just skip next year!!!
Thank you everyone for making my day special, I love you all!
Josh you are my fiance, true love, and soul mate, you made my day, as every other day worth living. Thank you!

Glad you had a super Birthday. Next year and every year thereafter will be “the same”, if not better. It’s great to have so many “29th” to look forward to.
What a cake! How are you going to top that next year, Josh?

Megan I enjoyed reading all the details of your special day. I’m sure you will have many more as good and more than likely better.
