As you’ve probably read, my Mommy and Daddy ((yes, both now with a “Y”)) have been very busy since my baby brother was born. I figured I could help them out a bit by updating everyone on some of the cools things I’ve done over the last 11 months! 🙂

Month 12

• I walked with Mr. Deeno-Dino on my own
• I stood by myself for the first time; but for only about 20-30 seconds
• I’m really starting to enjoy animal crackers, cookies, mashed potatoes and waffles
• My thirst for my bottle has gone down to about three bottles a day
• I wave/grab to something that I want – bottles, puffs, etc
• I really enjoy drinking my bottle in my chair
• No more second nap – now I’m napping from 11am to 2:30pm
• PoPop taught me how to crawl up the stairs!!!
• I can find the following things when asked – Mickey Mouse magnet, Puppy Dog ((P-Doggie for those who know him)) and my favorite blankets – Dot Blanket
• Bye-Bye Binky, Binky Bye-Bye ((Actually in April!!!))

My Second Year

• I gained .5 ounces and grew 1.5 inches; at least according to my Doctor (5.11.2011)
• I took my first step on Mother’s Day! (5.13.2011)
• Hello Cow! I drank half formula half milk for the first time! (5.12.2011)
• Throughout the month I continued to stand on my own and walk just a few steps at a time but now, guess what, I can walk on my own! (Month 13)
• Four of these teeth things are now in my mouth with two more on their way (6.6.2011)
• I visited a Dairy with Mommy ((with Peanut on-board)), Daddy, MoMom and PoPop – I actually liked the ducks more than the ice cream! (6.5.2011)
• Mommy showed me how to clean these teeth things (6.5.2011)
• I went swimming with PoPop and he dunked me a few times! So much fun! (Month 14)
• I found my pointer finger – I started pointing at people and objects (6.13.2011)
• Yum – I really like Peanut Butter (6.22.2011)
• Trying to my shoes on – oops, wrong feet (6.28.2011)
• Mommy doesn’t taste good. I bit Mommy today (6.28.2011)
• I love talk – talk talk talk talk – supposedly my Daddy talks a lot too…
• Some of my favorites: Elmo ((I LOVE ELMO)), walks and reading
• I try my best to help out with Cooper – getting Mommy and Daddy diapers, bibs and burp clothes
• Mommy or Daddy now read me a book and we say prayer together in my room before I go to bed
• It seems that Mommy and Daddy never realize who I want to get me up from sleeping as I always want the other
• My first words were “Hi!” and “Hot!”
• My first two syllable word is “Baby”
• I rode my first amusement park ride at Candy Lane (December)
• I sat on the potty for the first time although supposedly nothing happened (12.8.2011)
• Yay – I put my sneakers on correctly today – right foot right sneaker, left foot left sneaker! (12.8.2011)
• I peed on the potty today! (12.10.2011)
• Mommy let me sit at the table today in a big person chair for lunch (12.13.2011)
• I pooped on the potty today! (12.14.2011)
• Mommy has a travel mug that she puts her coffee in so when she mentions her coffee I cough!
• Mommy and MoMom trims my bangs today – I can see again! (12.21.2011)
• I’m not liking this Sunday School thing – I’m not sure who these people are… (January 2012)
• My baby brother’s name is “CooCoo”! :heart: (1.11.2012)
• Tried to be like Mommy and MoMom today, I had a half cheese and mustard sandwich for lunch(1.12.2012)
• With help I counted to ten today (1.13.2012)
• I said my name today – ELLA! (1.18.2012)
• Walked down our many steps today – wow, there’s a lot of them (2.2.2012)
• Yum – whole grapes are yummie (2.2.2012)
• Mommy and Daddy decided to let me sit on the big people chair ((with booster cause I’m short)) for lunch and dinner – so long high chair! (2.2.2012)
• Why are they called blueberries – they are called bum-bums!
• Drank from a cup today, not sure if I like it (2.24.2012)
• I really enjoy singing: The Alphabet Song ((well, my version)), Row Row Row Your Boat, Ring Around the Rosie and Bah Bah Black Sheep (2.26.2012)
• I love playing Rock-a-Bye Baby with Elmo! (2.26.2012)
• Mommy and I started going to the library for weekly story time, plus I learned this cool song “Open Shut Them” (February 2012)
• Oh – I know one sign of sign language, well, my own sign language.  I sign “Ella Language” for more when I want more! But that changes soon as I start to say “more” more than Ella-sign “more” 🙂
• I slowly beginning to learn to share with CooCoo
• My bedtime routine has changed a bit – I now get to have snack and watch Elmo before going up to read and say prayer
• This Sunday School thing isn’t as bad as I thought; plus I met this neato guy named Keith
• Because, supposedly, my terrible twos are nearing Mommy and Daddy have started to put me in time-out when I’m mean to others or don’t use my ears for listening. I think I understand but I’m a bit stubborn. 🙂
• My friend Cheyenne and her Mommy and baby brother have come over to play a few times – I really enjoy playing with her.

While this list is probably missing several things, I did my best to recap as much as I could remember.  I mean geez, I’m not even two yet! :
