Happy First Birthday to my handsome son Cooper! Your smiles, giggles and on the go personality make it so easy to be your Mommy!!! On this day that you turn one I reflect on the past year and am amazed at how much you have changed!!! Forever you will be my baby even though you are now a little boy!!! I love you Bubbers, Happy Birthday!

Sharing one of the most important days of my life with my daughter! I shed a few tears looking back at Our10.11.08! She enjoyed seeing her Mommy and Daddy and other family and friends!!! It was fun watching Ella’s face light up when seeing so many familiar faces in our wedding album. I had our album stored away in a cabinet and have seen it a number of times but always thought Ella was to young to understand. Today I came across it again and thought it would be a perfect day to share one of the most important days of my life with her. Having a “storybook” to show her from start to finish of our wedding day made it so much more enjoyable. I am sure we will continue to look at our album and as she grows up I am sure the interest will fade… but I will always have that look on her face when she saw her Mommy and Daddy in that book for the first time. That will stick with me forever!

Cuddled in my arms getting ready to nap, Cooper reaches up and pushes my face so I am looking at him and not the tv. He wants my full attention! 🙂

Cooper’s latest mimic action…. Mimicking a person yawning! Right down to the Aaaahhhhh at the end of the yawn! So hope I can catch it on video!

Explaining what a shadow is to a two year old takes some skill. Ella saw her shadow this morning and was kinda FREAKED OUT! After many examples (using Ebony, Elmo, Mommys hand) Ella came around to loving her shadow. Unfortunately the sun moved on… Wonder if she’ll remember tomorrow or if I’ll have to start all over again!
