We have on Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood….Daniel asked the viewers what makes them happy.
Ella replied: “Going on the potty! And my Doc McStuffins kit”…..
That made me smile!

It’s been a long tiring day…potty training hasn’t been easy and my daughter is very strong willed and a girl with a head of determination. Unfortunately her determination for potty training is to outlast Mom and Dad!!!
We toughed it out all day and this evening Josh got her to poop on the potty twice.
I am actually considering going into work for him and letting him handle the potty training!!!!
Very proud of Ella and so thankful for my husband in having the patience to come home and try his hardest to help in this parenting hurdle!
This to is another hurdle, thus far the highest by far!
Nothing beats being told….
“I’m glad you’re back Mommy”
When you’re putting your daughter to bed.
Yes, I cried.
Ella has been wearing panties most of the day. Even through nap time she kept her panties on and I put a pull up on over top. She woke up dry. She peed once on the potty…so either she truly doesn’t have to go or as soon as her night time diaper gets put on she’s going to let the gates open!
Either way, proud of her for a good day #1 of potty training!!!!
Josh and I officially took on a new chapter in our big book of life…We are landlords now!!!
Let’s hope this works out well and is a good chapter, at least for a few years!!!
Yesterday was a fun day by my parents pool. Both children spent all afternoon in or around the pool. The best part is that both used the”pool potty”….
Cooper at least 5 times and after holding out and continuing to demand a diaper, Ella gave in and peed on it too!
