We had a hole in our wall from hanging our tv above the fireplace. Patched the hole and lived with the dry wall for a month. Last weekend bought replacement paint as the original paint was over 10 years old.
Sherwin Williams could not guarantee the color would be 100% the same….as the paints have changed in 10 years.
I painted today and it looks like we will be painting our family room and kitchen completely as the new paint color is way darker than the walls.
Any guesses on how many months it’ll take for us to paint the rooms?

I asked Ella and Coop if I could take their picture for Daddy..They both ran away.
I then transformed myself into Elmo, holding him and having him take the picture and waalaaa smiles and cooperation!

Feeling sad for my Ella… We were talking about friends and she mentioned her friends Lauren and Ryan who live next to my parents. She said she doesn’t want to see them the next time we are at my parents house. I asked her why and she slapped her cast. I told her that she can still see them with her cast…She said she wouldn’t be able to walk the steps at their house. I said that friends help each other and that Lauren and Ryan would help her and make sure she got up and down the stairs.
I felt my eyes instantly fill with tears. She has been a real trooper through this entire cast ordeal ….I don’t forget she’s a child and has her down moments, but she’s been so positive and has had a go with the flow attitude about the whole thing that it punched me in the gut hearing her so sad about her friends and not wanting to see them.

Josh and I continue to tell each other we should make a list of ice cream we like, love and hate…along with the brand name. Right now we have two mint chocolate chips in the same brand name that we don’t care for. We knew this when we purchased them…but forgot.
Don’t worry we WILL eat it! No ice cream goes to waste in this house hold!
