I was informed that raw local honey aides in allergies. With our poor Cooper's allergies being so bad, we decided to give it a try. Today while out we were close to Whole Foods in Douglasville and purchased a "Bear" of Chester County local raw honey. Got it home and since honey isn't a common or regular item in our children's diet I decided to be clever and present each family member with a fun treat of a spoonful of honey!!! Ella ate hers right up, to which I received a questionable "what is this?" look. Josh ate his along with Coops as Coops dribbled off the spoon and into his hand which bothered him to no end. Coop never ate a spoonful....so I ever so secretly put a spoonful in his apple juice and he gulped it right up. Hoping the stuff helps not only for Coops sake but because that was some expensive stuff!

At the winery getting a bottle of wine, Ella informs me that when she is older she'll like beer and wine but she'll also still like apple juice. :-)

Since we drove by, we thought we'd stop in and purchase a bottle for tonight....

The children are doing independent art and working with scissors. I'm trying to help Cooper with holding his scissors properly. I drew a smiley face on Coops thumb nail and told him he needs to see the smile when he cuts....to that he spits on his thumb and wipes off the face. Figures...independent and determined to do it his own way.

Our daughter has always been talkative, but lately she has become even more so.... I honestly believe from the moment the first bird chirps outside her window in the AM until we leave her in her bed at night hoping she will drift off to sleep with ease, she doesn't stop talking. Without question she inherited the talking gene from both our mothers...they love to talk! It was actually a joke that Josh and I had before our mothers met that they would both just talk neither hearing that the other was talking! Now our daughter is both our mothers combined!!!! We love you both dearly, as well as you Ella and while there is the age old saying "silence is golden"...I don't think that was ever a possibility for us! We will take the conversation and questions for years to come and love you and your chatterbox mouth :-)

Cooper was standing in front of the mirror before bed brushing his teeth just staring in the mirror at himself. I honestly think the kid didn't recognize himself. I asked him if he liked his new haircut and his response was: "I don't like my haircut!" The kid is so funny as after it was cut he was acting all hot stuff and happy the hair was off his ears as it wasn't tickling him any longer.

I recall the feeling I used to get when I received a phone call from a past employee..finding out how they've been, what they are doing now, filling them in on the current happenings of the workplace. I was just that past employee as I called AEC regarding my 401k that still sits with them. It was nice chatting with a couple of the ladies I worked so closely with for so many years. It also made me realize how much I love my current job. There isn't a job in this world that beats being a Mommy full time!
