First swim of the season in my parents pool..... ah yes, no fighting bedtime this evening...both little fish went to bed quickly and with no "extra needs"....

The kids love it and are dancing with their microphones. Cooper says he's gonna get "the big black car" when he's a Dad. :-) and Ella wants Adam to come to her wedding!!!

Cooper is going through a phase of not napping. So he's having quiet time in his room. He's in there singing... I'm in the Lords Army. YES,SIR!!
It is so adorable as I can hear only him and his voice isn't being overtaken by his sister's singing.
Of course he sings and then mid song states that he's done resting... ha!

Ella had her Kindegarten Screening this morning!!! She was so excited and came home even more excited (if that is possible) for Kindergarten to start!!!
Hard to believe in a few short months she will be a Falcon.... following in this girls footsteps!

It was my night to take Ella to bed and we spent some time talking about her screening tomorrow at Ringing Rocks Elementary School. She was asking me what they will be asking her and I told her what I thought they'd ask. She then asked me if they would make her spell words. I told her I didn't think so but if they did she should just try her best. She asked if we could practice spelling. So we did. She gave me a word and I'd sound out each letter one at a time for her and she'd spell it.
DOG I'd make the D sound, then once she said D if make the O sound and once she said O I'd make the G sound and when she said G I told her she just spelled Dog.
We did this for 5 minutes and it was then time for me to sing her her bedtime songs. The little girl gave up one of her two songs to spell an extra word. She chose the word FAMILY and spelled it almost perfectly saying E instead of I.
So proud of her!!!

I just announced... 10 minutes till quiet time. Cooper looked at me smiled and said.... that's a lot!!!
Happy he's happy!
