I want to do a craft.
I want to do a craft.
I want to do a craft.
I gather things to do a craft.
Can you do the glue. Can you put it there for me. Can you put paint on the q tip.
Um I wasn't the one who wanted to do the craft...:/

My heart is filled with so much emotion this morning. One of those happenings that you knew was coming it was just a matter of waiting to hear it. Happiness and sadness...mixed emotions are hard emotions.

We are working on controlling out anger in this household. Both children demonstrate such aggression and unacceptable behavior when they get angry. Cooper yells, screams and gets so worked up you can not even speak to him. Ella stomps her feet, hits things and tends to use her body as a weapon.
It gets to the point some days I don't know how to react and handle the situation. I feel like nothing is working. Yesterday after Ella had a anger outburst I sent her to her room, which caused her to get even more angry. She ended up kicking her door in turn causing a picture to fall from the door. She ended up losing her prized toy Skye/helicopter til this morning. I spoke to her about her behavior and explained that getting upset and angry is ok, we all do. However, she can't demonstrate hurt towards others and punch and kick things. That isn't acceptable. We discussed her taking time for herself when she feels herself getting that angry and spending a few minutes by herself in her room to collect herself. Of course letting her know we are here for her if she wants to talk (however she is usually so angry it's pointless and I think she needs to calm herself down first, then talk if she wishes)
Any advice from others who have these behaviors. Ella tells me she knows she shouldn't be hitting, kicking and stomping but she just gets so angry she can't help it. I'd like to find away to help her.

Always a start to a good night when the husband walks in the door and says he needs to go down to his desk cause he's on call.
Returns to say he can eat dinner but then needs to go to a client site as they need help.
Thankful for his job, for his knowledge to be so successful in his area of work to provide for our family...Also thankful for the watermelon beer he stopped for on his way home.
Time to get the kiddos into bed so I can enjoy!!!
