After I said it's the longest hour of my week.... The part of the equation that makes it the longest announces
"I'm proud of Ella."
"Why's that Bud?"
"Because she's doing a great job!"

I know many times I just want to say to my children "because I said so..." I don't. I don't like using that phrase.... The phrase "because I'm the grown up or the parent is just as bad" (in my opinion)
I found this to be great ways to use the phrase "because I said so.. Or am the grown up"

I made flashcards with Ella's sight words on them... This morning we were doing them and Cooper shouted out two of the words before Ella!!!
He amazes me at times for I think more often than not he is typical boy not really caring or having any real drive to learn, especially ahead of time.... And then he whips out these moments of showing how he retains info that was presented in his presence and blows me away!!
I stand shocked today that the boy read two words!!
