You know someone is tired when they ask to only read 1/2 of a brand new book purchased today at the book fair. The poor kid couldn't keep his peepers open a second longer.

The one thing that is a personal annoyance to me is complaining. We all do it - it's that continuous complaining, never able to find the good in anything or ever happy about anything that gets to me. Everyone has their own history, story etc but everyone also has a choice to smile and find the good in things and complain less. Stop be thankful for your life and what you DO have!!

While at Ella's dance class tonight Cooper and I spent time walking the balance beams aka - curbs. A lady was in her car waiting for her grand daughter to be done her class and saw what we were doing. She praised Cooper for how well he balanced himself and told me what a great Mom I am for curb walking with my son :) Her car was parked over the curb and as we were approaching her for the third time, she was trying to start her car. I could hear it making an odd sound and it wasn't turning over. I asked her if all was ok and she said she was so glad that this happened when it did for it appears her battery died. She was going to move her car forward some so Cooper could continue to walk the curb. God works in mysterious ways. He set us to curb walk to help this elderly women find out her battery was dead while her granddaughter was dancing giving her time to call AAA and get it taken care of rather than after her class finished and it was almost dark. Coincidence nope, just God at work. How bad did I feel not having jumper cables? :/

Took the opportunity this year to volunteer in the mornings at Coopers school as Hallway Monitor. I really just say good morning to the students and their parents and make sure any child who is uncertain or needs help get to their classroom safely. Today I had two people ask if I work at GELC and when I told them I don't that I volunteer, they thanked me for my time. Sometimes it is the small things that people take notice to. A simple hello and morning greeting may be just what those children or parents need to help their day start on a good note! Happy to be a part of that!!!

Volunteered this morning in Ella's classroom. While I wasnt working with the children, I was in the room for a portion of my time there, and seeing her interact with her friends was awesome!! She was so sweet and so proud to have me there!! A good number of her friends enjoyed having me there as well they continued you wave and say "Hi Ella's Mom" I am blessed to be able to be a part of her daily life. This year has been an adjustment for us all and missing her during the day will never go away but still having a small glimpse into her day this year and maybe the next few is great as that will come to an end quickly!!
