At the beginning of the school year when the children in my class were learning my name we had a funny incident of them calling me Mrs. Duck, as one of the children thought that was my name. I was then called Mrs. Cook Duck for a couple classes.
Today, I was subbing and one boy was repeating himself over and over again. I asked the teacher if she knew what he was saying, as we could tell he was speaking to me as he was looking directly at me... She said... I think he's saying Mrs. Pancake!
Another little girl when she was leaving said... Bye Mrs. Pots!
So I'm now Mrs. Cook Duck, Mrs. Pancake and Mrs. Pots!
Love these kiddos, they make me smile and give me a good giggle! Never imaged the name of Cook giving anyone a problem!

The children have on one of the many Kid Bop CDs. Cooper is walking around singing... Dear future husband.

I stopped by the local Consignment Shop to see if there was a check for me (I consign there) and they happened to have a Mini Cooper matchbox car... I decided to pick it up for Cooper.
I gave it to him after school and he loved it!
After he left the table, Ella looks over at me and instead of her normal -- What did you get me? She said - I know you got that for Cooper because it's special.
Wow! What's gotten into her???

The Kenny Chesney song " No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem" was on the radio. Ella said that boys don't wear shoes, shirts and don't have problems, which I found interesting. She then continued to say, except PoPop... He doesn't wear shoes or a shirt in the ocean but those ocean waves knock him down and give him a problem.
