We've never let Ella and Cooper use their IPads/Kindles for long periods of time. Even this summer, with putting a Daily Summer list into plus they don't play them every day and when they do it's not for long extended periods of time.
However, this summer they were introduced to UTube Kids... Everytime they have access to their IPads they are now in UTube Kids! And they want to show me EVERYTHING!!
Anyone else have UTube Zombies?

I've been reading library books all summer. Books that friends on FB have recommended and books that I've found in the App Good Reads.
I'm definitely a fiction reader. However for the first time in prob forever I'm reading a non-fiction book.
I'm proud of myself because these stories don't usually intrigue me, but sitting here reading about a women and the gift she gave society (although she didn't know it) is just amazing.
I think I'll still stick with fiction as those books tend to be page turners for me and are much easier to read, but I'm glad I'm trying something new and different from what I've been reading all summer (psycho thrillers)....

I was playing Barbies with Ella and she informed me that they have a Barbie bar. I looked at her with what had to have been the most confused look and said they have What?!??
She said they have a bar that goes with the balance beam. A bar they swing on, like Cooper and I do at gymnastics.
Clarification at the beginning of that conversation would have been helpful!
