Ella: Jingle Bells Batman smells, Robin laid an egg...
Me: Excuse me, who taught you that?
Ella: (Names boy) but I don't like it!
Have never taught the children the funny goofy "remixes" of the popular Christmas songs, figured it was only a matter of time till they would learn them from others. 5.5 years isn't too bad. I just hope the Santa mystery sticks around longer.

The children received 3D glasses when we went to Sweet Lights in Hershey over Thanksgiving. They brought them home to use when we do Light Drives but we keep forgetting to put them into the car. Today Cooper put his on and saw how awesome the Christmas trees and pokie plant look while wearing them. He just showed Ella and we are now sitting in a pitch black house except for the trees!
It is kinda nice:)

What to do when you ask your children what they would like to get Daddy for Christmas and they reply with an answer you know won't be appreciated by Daddy. To be honest, I'm not even sure where this gift idea came from. I'm stuck, really stuck. :/

Every night Josh Cook asks Ella and Cooper what their favorite part of their day was ... Ella always says recess and whatever her special was that day.
Today she shared that at recess she played super heroes with all the boys.
I either have a popular one with all the boys or a Tom boy.
