Coop woke up dry this morning. We ventured to church wearing underwear with a pull up over top as Coop doesn't want to wear a pull up but he didn't quite have the whole "knowing when you need to go thing" down yet. Good thing we did it that way as he had a poopie accident while at Sunday School. I was told they caught him just as he started to go and it was too late to get him on the potty.
We then ventured to Target where he sat on potty, after a bit of a tantrum in which he flung himself onto the bathroom floor (always something with this kid)....he ended up peeing on the potty when Josh took him in a second time. We then went to Giant and got home a bit before 2pm and he was dry! He sat right up on the potty and peed!
Hoping the rest of the day goes as smoothly after he gets up from Quiet Time!

I find certain Christian praise songs to be addictive and most Sundays I find myself saying in my head or to Josh "that is gonna be in my head all week".....
I think whatever praise song Craig Biondi has for us this morning that has a chance to get hummed, sang and could run through my brain at the oddest time for the next week....may have competition...
Been up since 6:45 and Ella is in full blown Wallykazam mode.....that theme song is so cute and I find myself humming it over and over!

As we were getting up from watching Paw Patrol Josh noticed that Coop had an accident (turns out it wasn't a big accident probably only a drop or two of pee, enough to wet through his pants a little)....therefore making his total number of accidents for Day #2 of Undies TWO!!!!
While today was a lot more trying and tiring for all of us and while everyone's patience were becoming thinner and thinner Cooper did a fabulous job!!!
In fact, he gave Josh a hard time when getting ready for bed as he didn't want to wear a diaper to bed! Oh the challenge we are going to have getting him ready for church in the morning!

Happy to report that Cooper turned his frown upside down and sat on the potty before Quiet time and peed and pooped and had only one accident today so far!
Maybe he was feeling constipated.

Today is the exact opposite of yesterday....we have had nothing but screaming, yelling and not listening from Cooper. The word NO has also been used more times than I can count. If I would not have witnessed yesterday and how wonderful a job Coop did with listening and potty use I would never have believed he did it!
He is in his second pair of underwear as he had an accident in the first but now refuses to sit on the potty.
I fully expected him to have set backs but this is like seeing a completely different boy!

I realized sitting here that I talked a lot about Coop and his potty training today. I also realized that today is a HUGE first for Josh Cook and me...
After 3 years and 9 months, today was the first day I have not thrown a diaper in the garbage can!! Not including Coopers overnight diaper of course. I think I hear our garbage can grumbling of hunger and our garbage men doing a happy dance!!!!
Happy happy moment, yet sad all the same.

Day #1 of Cooper wearing undies ended in great success! He only had 4 accidents, 2 of which happened during dinner! But he did poop on there potty twice after his accident this morning in his undies!
He had quiet time in a pull up wearing his undies over top and sat on the potty at least 5 times before finally giving in to sleep!
I can not begin to express how proud I am of him!
Way to go Coop...I love you and an sui very proud of you!
