Friends with boys....
I'm looking to get Cooper involved in an activity. The soccer association is on waiting lists only for the majority of age groups plus have already started their season. So I'm thinking of waiting until Spring to try out soccer.
I'm looking for suggestions.
I think with Coopers personality he wouldn't take to karate, maybe in a few more years.
Any ideas?

Now I officially got Ella registered for Dance. Turns out the form I printed, mailed and sent with registration fee was not valid and it had to be done electronically.
Didn't know this, nor was there anything on the site pertaining to only accepting electronic registration. I was a bit frustrated today when I called as I never heard back from the vm I left at the office over a week ago. Last thing I wanted to hear was that my paper registration wasn't going to be accepted and I had to start over electronically.
I get it, electronic is the way our society lives and functions but don't give me the ability to print the form if you don't want printed forms and please update your website to state this before accepting enrollments.
Luckily the class I originally enrolled her for still had openings, so she's ready to start classes Wednesday September 9th!!!

Took the children to the outlets tonight to get their school sneakers. Cooper had his all picked out and purchased and ella decided to check out a different store.
After contemplating her choices she decided on a fun lace up pair by Sketchers that have gel bottoms (they also came with a sheet of stickers).. Cooper saw the gel bottoms and the stickers and broke down in the middle of the store wanting to return the Spiderman ones he had chosen and wanted gel bottom Sketchers. Of course his didn't come with stickers but with a activity book.
Now I'm secretly happy he wanted these over the Spiderman ones as I'm not one for character themed sneakers, but what the heck is with the goodies in the boxes? I mean it's smart of Sketchers behalf but jeez, let's sugar coat our brand and stuff the boxes with goodies!!!

Seeing all my friends posting about their babies going to Kindergarten tomorrow makes me feel so lucky to have 1 more week with my Ella.
In 1 week all you parents whose children start tomorrow beware as I will be feeling all the feelings you are feeling tonight & in the morning.
With this said, I can't wait to hear all about your Kindergarteners first days!

Fyi....I survived being a teacher this morning to 12 darling angels. It was an experience for sure!!!
My assistant did a fabulous job aiding me in cleaning up Play Doh, helping glue eyes onto our sheep we made and having to quiet a few children down during the bible lesson. Thank you Josh Cook!!!
Parents who's children were in this mornings class who I'm friends with, I thank you for sharing your children with us and trust us for that hour with them. ..you could have easily skipped church today after learning we were the subs.
A blessing in disguise from God. While I will never be a teacher, I did enjoy the children and know I can handle a simple lesson.
I can officially check that off my bucket list!

The children learned that if you have a nightmare share it so it won't come true; If you have a dream keep it to yourself so it comes true. I'm not sure where they learned this but it is common in our house that nightmares are shared often.....
This morning Coop and Ella were discussing their nights sleep and I hear Ella telling Cooper that ot is just a silly saying and isn't real (referring to a nightmare he was sharing with her)
She will totally be the child bursting all the other children's bubbles about the Easter Bunny, Santa, etc.
